Supported by sparse yet precise instrumentation (great balance of the percussion and piano textures especially), Mystic's sultry yet delicate expressions of being manipulated, deceived, and cast aside hit the heart that much harder because they are expressed in such a delicate and hypnotic fashion. It is only during the spoken word section that a non-lyric oriented listener would be forced to face the harsh reality of the "red flags that were camouflaged."

Another aspect of this unique expression of pain and heartbreak is the video itself.

Alternating between the "real world" of human romance and a mysterious alternate reality that perhaps reflects the inner world of the one suffering, the contrast of the duality within the video itself is similar to the duality of the music.
