Ludwig Jonsson's recent single, "No Angel is

Watching", tears right through you like a buzzsaw of passion and musical virtuosity while simultaneously making you think.

Being a more pop oriented vocalist myself, I admire and very much love the rasp and grit that he is able to create with his powerful voice, while employing tight harmonies as well.

The track is a dark yet motivating anthem of self-reliance, which actually reminds me lyrically of Dream Theater's "Take the Time", which I mean as a massive compliment.

Another thing that makes the track stand out is the balance of highly defined drums and guitar harmonies, neither of which overpower the other. This is no easy task when it comes to production and indicates a great set of ears on the part of the artist and any other collaborators that participate.

With vicious guitars, pummeling drums, and an emphasis on melody and a powerful message, "No Angel Is Watching" is a dynamic offering indeed, and deserves repeated listens.
