MEC Music Reviews is an exciting and in-depth music site dedicated to detailed and descriptive reviews of albums, eps, and singles.  Reviews are written by Matthew Cahoon, a professionally trained musician with decades of experience in performance in multiple genres on multiple instruments/voice at the national level. He has recorded, co-produced, and released multiple albums and professional music videos under his project, Everpresent, and has also had songs placed in TV/Film on the Discovery, Science, TLC, and MTV channels.   A Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) graduate who has spoken to students at Berklee's Career Day, Matthew is a voting panelist for the Grammys and a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, and has won several awards for his work and collaborated with numerous musicians/remixers, photographers, and film directors in multiple countries.  As an artist who has lived it himself, Matthew brings all of this training and real-world experience to his writings and hopes to offer some great insight and fun reading to all.
