The new composition from Jean-Mark Noval, "Mama", performed by and beautifully played by Andy Ezrin is out now. The dynamic acoustic piano is masterfully played, with some notes being purposely "loose" and others notes in the melody played more strongly, the accents pulling at the heartstrings.
The mix is clear, allowing for a truly engaging experience. The song has a slightly melancholy but nostalgic feeling, almost as if to awaken memories from one's past, or in contrast, to provide a "bed" for introspection. The song ends beautifully, slowing down as the final chords punctuate the mood of the track.
One thing also that adds to the vulnerability and emotion of the track is the ebb and flow of the tempo, giving the listener time to enjoy and pause to reflect on whatever imagery or emotions that they personally feel while listening. Exploring different tonal centers but never jarring, this touching sentimental composition is truly special.
